ABOUT US
LABS is a woman-owned consulting firm founded by Quesia Raqib in 2020. Quesia began her professional career over twenty years ago in a “self-contained” classroom in Newark, N.J; she would later go on to teach, intervene and advocate for students and families of varied ethnicities, socio-economic classes, and religious affiliations. Her experiences are both domestic and international, in educational and therapeutic settings. Quesia is also the mother of a teen son with Autism, she understands the unique challenges “Special Families” face, and the often-complex relationship they have with educational institutions. Finally, life experience fuels her passion to transform the way “Special” children view themselves and their place in society.
